crab feast and sandcastle cakes

wow, what a night....after 8 hours at sea and 5 lost crab traps, derek and david returned with 3/4 of a bushel of crabs for everyone!  harry added a few pounds of shrimp and we all ate out by the pool.  thankfully the family that we were sharing the house complex/pool with (who had about 100 foster kids running around like nuts) had left and we had it all to ourselves.

after dinner, michael bailey made a fantastic cake in the shape of a sandcastle.....leave it to make to come up with something so wonderful and over the top fantastic!

some sad news as derek lost 5 traps and needs to go back tomorrow to get them, or buy new ones.  Pray for his patience and God's provision in locating the traps...hopefully full of more crabs!
