"last weekend I was home with Bella while Derek was working his 3-11 shift. Around 10:30 I heard a knock at the door. I got a little nervous b/c no one comes to our house that late! So I peaked around the corner of our stairwell and see a strange man standing outside. He continued banging on the door which made Chase bark like crazy! So I called Derek at work and when I explained to him what was going on, he raced home in his police car. By this time the man had left, but Derek made it to the entrance of our neighborhood in time to pull the man over. After a brief conversation, he found out the man was supposed to pick up Eagle's tickets from our next door neighbor but went to the wrong house! I was very proud that Derek raced home so fast and that sure did make me and bella feel safe! I guess you can say he is one good cop!"
