Ann's Update: Let Me Clear Mom's Throat

as promised, the latest and most comprehensive updates on the health of Mid and Pork.  This week's episode, coughing spells and alot of numbers....

Mid Update: Mom got her blood test today but Dad and I had to wait in the waiting room because Mom had to get a bone marrow test.  SHOCKED!!!! 

GOD made Mom cough while they were in the back room getting her blood pressure taken, so Dr. Misleh cancelled the test.

Then they called Dad and me back and Mom was telling him about the test.  We asked if she shouldn't be on an antiobiotic and get another chest x-ray.  The dr. said he would listen first.  He heard stuff in her bronchioal tubes  and ordered the chest x-ray and a prescription.  Please pray God will use both to help her and not to hurt her.

We praise God that her red cells came up a little, her HG came up from 8.0 to 8.2.  Her ANC came down some (and we wanted it to), her platelets dropped to 109 (from 129) , but praise God they are not below 100.  Her whites went up a tiny, but the dr. said that was ok.

I asked if her pneumonia could effect her hg and red cells and he said yes.  That's why he's doing the bone marrow next week to see  because she is anemic. 

Pork Update: We thank God for His continual work with Dad's legs too.  We haven't heard any complaints today, but the last two night's he been hurting.
