Worship and Gratitude

Some thoughts on GRATITUDE for Thanksgiving week and everyday . . .

Our pastor keeps repeating the truth that JESUS is our RESCUE.
The words to this worship song keep playing in my mind:

"Who, oh Lord, could save themselves
Their own soul could heal?
Our shame was deeper than the sea
Your GRACE is deeper still.

You alone can rescue, You alone can save
You alone can lift us from the grave.
You came down to find us, led us out of death
To you alone belongs the highest praise."

With these lyrics in mind, I'd like to share some thoughts on GRATITUDE & WORSHIP.

"Worship is when you're aware that what you've been given is far greater than what you can give. Worship is a voluntary act of gratitude offered by the saved to the Savior, by the healed to the Healer, and by the delivered to the Deliverer."
 - Max Lucado's Grace for the Moment

"Thank the Lord because he is good.  His love continues forever."
Psalm 106:1

From my grateful heart to yours this Thanksgiving week.
Love,
Aunt Cathy
