Ann's Update

Today was another gift from our Lord.  Let me begin by sharing some Bible verses and promises from God that He spoke to Mom (and to me, as Mom read them to me) while she was having her chemo treatment.


"Daughter, thy faith has made thee whole.  Go in peace and be whole of thy plague."  (Mark 5:34
"God home to thy friends and tell them how great things the Lord done for thee and has had compassion on them."  Mark 5:19
"THis was the Lord's and it is marvelous in our eyes!"  Mark 12:11
"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."  Mark 13:31
"Take ye heed, watch and pray, for ye know not whem the time is..."  Mark 13:33

Wepraiose our GOD for HIS FAITHFULNESS , MERCY, GRACE< AND LOVE for Mom and our whole famly.

We praise that her white cells were good (4.5), her rbc and hemoglobin were good (not on target), but comparatively very good.  When she got the transfusion last Friday, she was 7.3.  Today she was 9.7 .  THAT"S OUR GOD!
Her platelets were down a little, but they are still at above 100 (103).
Her anc was down (1.5), but it was above 1 and they definitely want it above 1.
We praise God that her only side effect has been constipation and a little diarhhea.  Please pray she won't have more because she is in pain when she has it.

Today the family dr. did allow her to have another inhaler   to help with her cough.  PLEASE PRAY this God will heal this cough and NOT LET her blood cells fall below the levels they need to be.  Also, please pray she will have NO SIDE EFFECTS.  The next week-week and a half is the most critical time for side effects and cells to drop.  We want to stand together in belief that our GREAT GOD will protect her from these things so we can continue to serve him as a family and testify of HIS FAITHFULNESS, so others can come to know and love him.

Also, Dad said that last Sunday, Pastor Mark said that he wants to annoint Mom and Dad this Sunday and pray for them.  PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYER THAT GOD WILL HEAR AND CONTINUE TO ANSWER AND SHOW HIMSELF MIGHTY as HE keeps Mom and Dad protected by His angels and covered with the blood of Jesus.

We praise our God that Dad has had no negative problems from his fall out of bed.  ONLY GOD kept him safe.  We are so very thankful.

We love you all!  We can hardly wait to see you all this holiday season. 

Please pray for Mom and Dad's spirit to be lifted too. I think you all will be such a encouragement to them when you come!!!

One more thing---the dr. said it will take approx. 2-4 months to see if the chemo works.  PLEASE PRAY GOD WILL TOUCH IT AND HELP IT TO WORK.  Also, pray for extra strength for Mom and Dad.
