Thanksgiving

Well, due to the unfortunate nature of the internet, there will be very few pictures posted to Team Doughten until further notice...apparently we've used up 90% our allotted hard drive space for the website.  The problem is currently being worked on, but in the mean time, here's (mostly) non-visual highlights of Thanksgiving dinner in case you missed it:

1.) Middie Mom literally had an entourage walking her to the car.  Harry had her all wrapped up while Ann scurried about behind him saying: "be careful with mother, be careful with mother."

2.) In a surprising development, Porkie Pop was in a hurry to get home and kept wondering aloud  where Ann and Mid were.  "It's time to get goin..." he kept repeating.  Normally, he's never in a rush.

3.) Due to Derek's absence early on (He was working), Bella required no fewer than 5 different helpers/handlers to make sure Christine was able to eat her meal.

4.) Also, Bella demonstrated some pretty slick walking skills and should be on her way to the Olympics in 2016.

5.) In a truly shocking development, Harry didn't prematurely attempt to hurry the dessert.

6.) In a related story, the desserts were incredible!

7.) Faith had probably one of her more speedy farewell tours in recent history.

8.) Aunt Cath gave a memorable and moving soliloquy about Thanksgiving prior to dinner and as expected, it included references to Bella as well as Mid and Pork (hmm...maybe we have another Team Doughten commandment in the works...)

9.) Sadly, we did not get to go around and say what we were thankful for; but that's alright. At the end of the day, everyone was thankful to have been able to spend yet another Thanksgiving looking down to the far end of the table and see Mid and Pork seated side by side in front of the windows.  That image in and of itself may be what we were all most thankful for this year...
